Hi Stampers!
I hope you like this really great card I created for my niece. In case you don’t know her, she has done some guest stamping with me in the summer as the Slightly Sideways Stamper! She is 8 today and I still remember the day she was born. I will always have such a special love for her and she LOVES sports: Soccer especially!
The shoes are from a retired Sale A Bration set from last year but I colored them( as best I can) to look like Messi shoes, which I think is a big time soccer player, but don’t quote me LOL.
I sprayed the black and white card stock with some water from a Stampin’ Spritzer and then lay it in the Dynamic Hexagon folder. The water will help to loosen up the Cardstock to get deep rivets for the soccer ball.
I did hand try the hexagons with Paper Snips and know a soccer ball is really a Pentagon shape but this really worked with the dimensional I added to it.
I did the background with the same glycerine technique as yesterday, check it out here if you missed it. I used Balmy Blue and Pool Party for the sky and I used a combo of Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Call Me Clover. I added in the “grass blades” with Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write markers.
If you have any questions about how I made this, feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you 🙂
Until next time,
Stay Crafty!
XO Rach
