I made this really lovely card with GOLDEN HONEY Specialty DSP you can ONLY earn for FREE only during Sale A Bration 2020.

I did two different techniques for this card.

I made a new video here.

I did some Paper Piecing and also some multi layers of Heat Embossing.

I used a 3 3/4″ x5″ piece of Golden Honey DSP and cut the stars out.

I then cut another of the same from Thick Whisper White card stock.

In hind sight, I would have added some double stick paper to the back of both papers

that the stars were die cut from, it would make it easier to layer them together.

I coated the stars in Versamark and added GOLD Embossing powder and heat it to set.

I repeated that process three times for a nice thick layer.

I saved the stars that came out and then reversed by layering the WHITE stars on top of the DSP with liquid glue.

I finished it with Wink of Stella.

I pieced the stars back in with liquid glue as well. I think it looks really cool.

I also added in some Wink in the in-between spaces to cover some glue smudges.

I continued with the star theme inside by die cutting two stars from the layering star die set and adding a sentiment on top!

To make an easier flag on the sentiment, I put it into the Tailored Tag punch and snipped it.

CARD RECIPE

Base: Basic Black 4 1/4″ by 11″ score at 5 1/2″

Layer: Whisper White  4 ” by 5 1/4″

Layer: Golden Honey DSP 3 3/4″ by 5″
