Hi Stampers!
Sadly I do not have a cute full photo of this card to share as I totally forgot to photograph it :(….boo , bad me! I made this for a little friend and we had been on vacation so I did it last minute and I don’t know why but I forgot to photograph it.
I did make this really fun card on the fly though and this was my very first time using the Layering Alphabet thinlits.
I will do another video very soon on how to use them once I fool with them a bit more and can show you more than one use 🙂
Card Recipe:
Base is a layer of 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″ panel of Pacific Point, I know it is a weird layer, but I didn’t want to trim my card down any further since it was so adorbs!
I layered the H A P P Y using 4 1/4″ by 3 1/2″ pieces of card stock in the new 2018-20 In Colors.
I held the two layers the “HAPPY” and the base with “Birthday” together with a 4 1/4″ by 2″, scored at 1″ piece of Whisper White.
I masked off the HAPPY part with post its and inked the stamp with Versamark, then added all of the 2018-20 In Color Embossing Powders one at a time.
Side Tip: you may want to use separate coffee filters to keep these powders from mixing when returning them back into their containers as they seem super pigmenty ( which is a good thing IMO), also try not to touch the paper with your fingers if it has landed somewhere other than intended, use a tiny paintbrush to swipe it away.
I also know I used a retired Happy Birthday stamp, so I suggested in the supply list several others you could use instead. The coolest one in my opinion is the Share What You Love set…..you can create virtually any word or phrase with the beautiful cursive letters 🙂
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
