Bridge Fold Card, Stampin' Up!

Hi Stampers!
Today I will share this really cool version of the bridge fold card with you. I am a little sad, I did a You Tube LIVE last night and it didn’t save! šŸ™ I am so bummed, but I will be making a new video this am, and I will put the link on here so you can watch. I made the video for a new friend of mine Diane, who asked to have a video so she could better understand the “bridge” part of the card, and I totally got carried away with the Flamingos in this set and thought it was just super cool!!

Here are the instructions:
You will need a 4 1/4″ by 8″ piece of card stock to make this, which is awesome in itself, since you can make two of these from one sheet of 8 1/2″ by 11″ card stock! That is a bonus in my book šŸ™‚
You will score on the 8″ side at: 1 1=4″, 2 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 6 3/4″
Then you will need some pieces to decorate your card, you can use DSP if it is easier or you’re in a hurry ( that happens to me…..ALOT!!)
(1) Ā 1″ by 5 3/8″ for the bridge piece
( 2 or 4 depending on how you decorate) 1″ by 4″ for the side panel strips
(1) 2 7/8″ by 4 1/8″ for the base, I used Glossy Paper
Shimmer White scraps for the Ā Flamingo and the sentiment piece ( gave it extra sparkle)
You can see the full video for better instructions on how to place your bridge, but you can either put it over or under your side decorative strips.
I also attached the Flamingo with dimensional to give it more pop and 3D value.
This will fit into a standard envelope, since it does fold down flat, and it will pop back up once removed.
A few tips:
Remember when stamping on Glossy Paper to stamp straight up and down, DO NOT WIGGLE THE STAMP or it will smear and blur.
You also need to give the Glossy Paper more time to dry, so you may want to do that first and set it aside while you make your base card.
More is more on this “diorama-style” type of card, it will make it more interesting to your Ā recipient!
Hope you like it as much as I do!
Until next time,
Stay Crafty!
XO Rach
