Fun Fold Flap Card – RachTheStamper

Hi Stampers!

This card was super fun to create and really easy to make a ton of if you like to get ahead of the game for Birthdays, Thinking of you, and Anytime cards!
I used the lovely Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper. It gave me such a great boost with color combination ideas and is so pretty to look at, don’t you think

CARD RECIPE

Base card: Pool Party 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
DSP layer: 4″ by 5 1/4″
Square layer for fold down: 3 1/4″ by 3 1/4″, I used Crushed Curry
Inside layer: 5 1/4″ by 3 1/4″, again I used Crushed Curry
Inside sentiment layer: 4″ by 3 1/2″ Whisper White and a scrap for the front sentiment
You can see how to do the fold down much better in the video ,but you will want to make at 3 1/2″ from the top near the mid score line, and 3 1/2″ from the open side of the card. Then you will fold it down and reinforce with your Bone Folder.
You will cut the 3 1/4″ piece in half from corner to corner, but about 1 /16″ of an inch smaller so it will layer nicely.
