Hi stampers!
What a totally cool card this turned out to be. I made this at the end of last weeks stamp party that my good friend Ronda hosted. It was a smaller than normal party but it lead to some last minute creativity. A new stamper that joined us (my new-ish neighbor from Kentucky via Florida) was invited to join us for a peek at how to make cards. She did so, incredibly well and caught on super fast. She is a “sometimes” scrapbooker so she had the general idea anyway. I brought a “Bridge Fold” card with me that I created with the brand new set called Pieces & Patterns. It’s available June 1st, 2017 in the NEW 2017-18 Annual Catalog. It was available for pre-order for demos and I got it right away. It has many unique background stamps, some iconic images and beautiful fonts.
Well, if you’ve been on my site at all, you know I ADORE the Beach and I thought the lighthouse from High Tide would make a great Bridge Fold card and away I went:).
I did this one a tad bit different from last weeks card as I put the “bridge” part (which holds the two ends together) under the outside flaps but still over the background portion. So it ended up looking like an amazing diorama-style card! This card will fit in a standard A4 envelope in case you were worried, AND as soon as I’m back from vacation, I will make a full video for it. Maybe even a Fcaebook or YouTube LIVE!
Let’s just say I see lots more of these in my future!
