This card features the NEW Stampin’ Blends which will be available for everyone to order on November 1st, 2017.
I stamped the Vintage leaves in Memento ink onto a 3 3/4″ by 4 1/2″ piece of Vellum.
I stamped the images in a random pattern, and then waited for the ink to dry. I then flipped the card over and colored the leaves in with the Stampin’ Blends. I was then going to let it dry and flip it back to adhere it, but I left it blends side up, which means the Memento ink would be stamped onto the other side. I hope that makes sense the way I explained it. If not please let me know and I will do a video to show you sooner than later.
After I filled in the leaves, I thought it would be cool to add in some color in the blank space with the Stampin’ Blends, and I think it turned out really well.
I was going for a less is more with this card and just layered it onto a 4″ by 4 3/4″ piece of Whisper White to help the colors show through better.
I then added that to a Garden Green layer measuring 4 2/8″ by 5″, and finally added it to a 4 1/4′ by 11″ piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock that I scored at 5 1/2″.
On the inside I stamped the large leaf from the September 2017 Paper Pumpkin in Tangerine Tango. Then I stamped the accompanying sentiment in Memento ink on a small square of vellum. I added it with Tombow Liquid glue, so it would not show through.
I also added some of the 1/4″ Copper Trim to spice it up a bit.
I still may go back and add a “thankful” sentiment to the front of the card from the Sheltering Tree stamp set…….I may just add an additional photo 🙂
