One Big Meaning, Stampin' Up

Rachael · March 30, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Hey Stampin’ friends…..wishing us all a sunshiney spring! This set is one I really needed to get, especially since I saw a Stamp friend of mine use it….I HAD TO HAVE IT!
I thought I would try something I’ve never done before, which is combine a lot of stamps onto one clear block. One thing though,  they all needed to be similar and I really didn’t have a large set like that, so that also lit a fire under me…..I think it’s a neat idea to do a monochrome-ish style, with a pop of color. At first I thought that the bright words would do it. Then,  I added dimensionals.  Then I  thought the coordinating paper trimmed and layered really did it for the look I wanted…..Hope you enjoy it too!! šŸ™‚

I started with Very Vanilla,  truly because I think it gives a really expensive look to the card, if that makes sense.  Whisper White really didn’t give the finished look I had in my head. I decided to do two layers and then it ran away with me….
So as always,  start Very Vanilla 4 1/4″ by 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ for a vertical card, or 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ scored at  4 1/4″ for a horizontal card. An extra layer of Very Vanilla 4″ by 5 1/4″, and then from there it’s up to you….
#1 card has a 1 1/8″ by1 3/8″ piece of Very Vanilla layered onto a 1 1/2″ by 3 1/2″ piece of Blackberry Bliss.
#2 card a 1″ by 3 1/8″ piece of Very Vanilla on top of a 1 1/8″ by 3 2/16″ piece of Cucumber Crush, I also sponged the edges of the main panel in Tip Top Taupe.
#3 card is a fussy cut of whichever sentiment you love the best, with a pearl for good measure šŸ˜‰
#4 which is my FAV, has a 1″ by 3″ piece of Very Vanilla, 1 1/8″ by 3 1/8″ piece of Watermelon Wonder, and a 1 2/8″ by 3 2/8″ piece of Cucumber Crush on the bottom. Also a little pearl in the curl, and some Crystal Effects on the heart <3.
Can’t wait to hear which is your favorite!!! Drop me a comment:)

Till next time……
