I created two cards for this hop as I am just IN LOVE with the Treehouse Adventure stamp set.
I made one as more of a watching the fireworks card, fully equipped with banners and fireflies! This set is just so hard to put down, it makes me feel 5 again!
The second card is a great card to create if you have a Summer Camper in your house. This just screamed ” The Parent Trap”: ya know, the amazing one with Hailey Mills. I love that movie and this so reminded me of that . It is funny to me, as I set the houses up to be “in the trees”. I used masking paper to lay over the houses to stamp images and be able to get some depth, however, I think my tree trunks ended up looking like “paths” to the cottages instead…..what do you think? 🙂
No matter, I see Susan and Sharon eating ice cream on the front porch either way 😀
Both card measurements are as follows:
Base layer: 4 1/4″ by 11″, score at 5 1/2″
Second layer: 4″ by 5 1/4″
Third layer: 3 3/4″ by 5″
I used Blueberry Bushel and Poppy Parade for both sets of houses and I think they look very patriotic, I am just loving all of our new and old/new again colors….how about you?
