Stampin Friends Congrats, Grads, Brides and Babies Blog Hop

Rachael · March 19, 2020 · 9 Comments

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Congrats, Grads, Brides and Babies Blog Hop.

This month’s theme is great for most any occasion!

If you’re following along the hop, you’ve arrived from Tiziana’s blog.

Don’t forget to continue on the hop with Teri’s blog.

Be sure to continue all the way through.

You’ll have some lovely ideas for cards and projects of all kinds!

I actually created the Palm Tree portion of this card on a Facebook Live I did yesterday.

I shared lots of different ways to use Embossing Folders in unusual ways.

So let’s jump right in.

Project RECIPE

I started with a 6″x6″ piece of Tropical Oasis DSP

I  scored at 3/4″, 2 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 5 1/2″. Then turn it 90* and score at 3/4″. Trim to as shown as below.

Fold all score lines and reinforce with the Bone Folder. I added Tear n Tape onto the flap to adhere it and to the bottom flaps as well.

I closed it with a clip I got on the SU! Clearance Rack! 😀

CARD RECIPE

Granny Apple Green Base:  4 1/4″ by 8 1/2″, score at 5 1/2″

Crumb Cake  Layer: 4 3/4″ x3 3/4″ run through Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder

Whisper White layer: 3″ x 4″

Until next time,

Stay Crafty!

XO Rach
