To create the card above, I added in different colors with a combination of using the Aquapainter and a #4 round tip brush with water and glycerine. I figured if you could use the sponge like we did the other day to add a smoother background, you could also try this technique with a round paintbrush and some glycerine too. I will say it is not exactly as smooth as the sponges but it does give a really nice effect.
I used the same color for the top but in two different dilutions to achieve different hues. If you want a really good idea of how I did it, check out the YouTube video below for other tips and tricks as well.

CARD RECIPE
Base Layer: Tranquil Tide 10″ by 3 1/2″, score at 5″
Layer: Watercolor Paper 2 3/4″ by 4 14/16″
Inside Layer: Whisper White 2 3/4″ by 4 14/16″ plus a scrap for the outside sentiment
