Camera card featuring Layering Circles , Stampin' Up!

Rachael · May 3, 2018 · 1 Comment

Hi Stampers!
Hope you’re having a super day, below  are the measurements and which circles you need to use from the Layering circles to make this cool camera card come to life. I will do another  version with the NEW stamp set in the 2018-19 Annual Catalog once I am able to order it 🙂
Also a few recaps for things that will be retiring and coming soon are below…..remember stamp sets are only guaranteed through May 25th…..everything else is WHILE SUPPLIES LAST…. so get while the getting is good. There is chatter they may reduce some prices as of May 9th and things will certainly sell out fast once that happens.
Here are the retiring colors once again:

  • Always Artichoke
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Elegant Eggplant
  • Island Indigo
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Pink Pirouette
  • Rose Red
  • Soft Sky
  • Tangerine Tango
  • Tempting Turquoise
  • Wild Wasabi
  • Wisteria Wonder

Dont’ be too sad though…..we will be getting all of these new colors in the next 2018-19 Annual Catalog!!

The new color collections are below….feast your eyes on these beauties!

The In Colors will be:

Card Measurements :
Base Layer: 8 1/2″ by 3 1/4″, score on 8 1/2″ side at 4 1/4″
Black layer: 2 5/8″ by 2 7/8″
Flash Bulb: 1″ square
Outer Circle for Lens: Use largest and third largest layering circles
Inner Circle for Lens: Use Smallest and third smallest layering circles
I added foam strips to add dimension to the lens to make them look as if they were opening. I did the same amount on the first darker base card. On the second lighter base card, I used one layer on the larger circle and then two layers of foam strips on the smaller to make it stick out further.
You can do either, it is totally personal preference 🙂
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
XO Rach
