CARD RECIPE
Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 9 3/4″, score at 5 1/2″
Inside Panel: 4″ x 5 1/4″
With card folded in half, feed fold side in and line up end at 2 1/8″, then put a score “tic” in each side, flip and repeat.
With the shorter end at the top, line it up again to 2 1/8″ and score a “tic” in the center.
You will then need to make your criss cross score lines contenting the new marks, fold and reinforce with the bone folder.
Also after just trim off the top bit ti make a tip by cutting from the center 2 1/8″ mark to the upper side score marks.
I did the layers in two ways for the front.
On Real Red card: Whisper White layer 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″, Basic Black layer 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
On Basic Gray card: Whisper White layer 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″, Basic Black layer 2 6/8″ x 2 6/8″
I made the “tassel” from Whisper White Baker’s Twine but it is a little thick as is. So on a third card I made, I separated the strings(there are three) and make my “tassel” with that and it was much less bulky.
Until next time,
Stay Crafty!
XO Rach
