Today I am participating in the very talented Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights Hop!
Every month, Kylie pulls together a group of Stampin’ Up! Enthusiasts and highlights their creations on her blog!
She enables viewers to cast their vote on their favorite creation in the line-up!
The top 10 picks get to take part in a blog hop with Kylie.
I am counting on you all to help me hit TOP 5 again this month.
Maybe even TOP 3!
The theme is Thank You.
I hope you enjoy my Thank You Card for Kylie’s International Blog Highlights, please leave a comment on what you think!
Please click on the HEART in the upper right hand corner to cast your vote! Your vote will be confirmed once the heart is clicked.
As soon as I saw this stamp set in the catalog, I KNEW I would case this card!
I think the color and black creates an Amazing scene.
I did switch it up a bit by adding several colors into the sunset with a Sponge Brayer.
I also layered it onto my new FAV color: Just Jade!
I think I may try this card once more: a mini 4″ x 4″ version and DOUBLE stamp the water to make it super dense.
I used three colors to achieve the sky: Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie & Terracotta Tile.
This card is pretty simple on the front, so I used “Thanks so much” from Moving On stamp set and cut them out and added Foam Adhesive Strips.
I also really wanted the inside to be interesting.
I actually die cut two different labels from the Tasteful Labels dies from the Just Jade layer.
I ends up being covered, so you never see it missing.
I made the inside sentiment by using Stampin’ Write markers and coloring in then stamping the words a few at a time.
Basic Black base: 4 1/4″ by 11″ score at 5 1/2″
Just Jade layer: 4 ” by 5 1/4″
Whisper White layer: 3 3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White scrap for inside 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″, I die cut the stitched jagged circle from a full layer and then cut it down to have a spot to sign under the inside sentiment.
Until next time,
