Mini cards with Carried Away DSP, Stampin' Up!

Rachael · February 28, 2017 · Leave a Comment

Hi Stampers! These cards are so very fun to make! It’s like getting a two for one deal, because you can create so many, so quickly!
I hope you will forgive the shortness of this post….we are headed off on a little break, and I wanted to get one more post done for you, but I didn’t have a whole lot of time 🙂
You can make two tall, or two short cards, or four of both! They are super easy, and I can see a whole lot of these in my future. I also would love to see what you create. Will you send me some photos?
This is my one year anniversary as a blogger by the way! SO…….
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US 😉
’cause I wouldn’t be doing this if it weren’t for you all! So thanks for sticking by me, and I promise to make this a fun, and crafty journey .
Ok, the cards  will vary depending on your choice of style. I will outline both, and you choose your fav.
Tall Card:
4 1/4″ by 11″ base of Thick Whisper White, score at 5 1/2″, then cut in half at 2 1/8″.
DSP layer measures 2″ by 5 2/8″, just add with some snail, and add the balloons with a dimensional, add clouds if you wish. Stamp your sentiment in Night of Navy, flag the end and add with snail or mini glue dots.
Wide Card:
5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″, then cut in half at 2 6/8″.
DSP layer measures 2 1/2″ by 4″, again add with snail, and add a few dimensionals to the Night of Navy balloon, and attach. Add clouds if desired. Stamp your sentiment in Night of Navy ink and add with mini glue dots.
BOOM! Easy! Done, and this is such a fun, and simple card to make your own.
You can use a regular envelope to mail this since the clouds hang off, but the envelope is large enough to hold them in place.
Make sure to check out the video for a few extra tips and ideas!
Until next time…….
Stay Crafty!
