Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop.
This month’s theme is Masculine or Guy cards!
If you’re following along the hop, you’ve arrived from Melissa’s blog.
Don’t forget to continue on the hop with Jean’s blog.
Be sure to continue all the way through.
You’ll have some lovely ideas for cards and projects for all the guys in your life!
I did “cheat” a little bit and use the card I started yesterday live on my Facebook page
and finish it for today.
So let’s jump right in.
PROJECT RECIPE
This is a super simple treat holder inspired by The Paper Pixie.
Mini Box: 4 3/4″ x 6″
On the 4 3/4″ side score at 1/2″ and 1 1/4″, flip 90* repeat scoring
On the 6″ side score at 2″, 2 3/4″, 4 3/4″, 5 1/2″
Then again on the 6″ side, you will score at 2 3/8″ and 5 1/8″ BUT just down to the 1/2″ line
This will help you create your diagonal score lines, then trim away as shown
I made mine with Basic Gray cardstock and cut a circle in it using the 2nd Smallest Layering Circle die.
I added a window sheet, and you can use leftover or old acetate as I did here.
I trimmed down an extra Pretty Peacock Tree I die cut earlier to make it fit the box and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
Fill with candy or a small treat.
