Rachael · September 21, 2017 · Leave a Comment

I added stoppers to keep it bent, this one is the holly sprig on the left

I added a Holly sprig on the inside as well to hlep keep the bend with a stopper

Close up of the stopper

My 1st Bendi card ever

A beautiful greeting thanks to the Ready for Christmas stamp set

stands up all on its own!

No stoppers on this version, I will update on how it holds up being mailed

Hi Stampers!
As a follow up to the Facebook LIVE I did earlier today, I added a few “stoppers” to hold the bend parts in place. I stamped a Holly Spring in Always Artichoke and colored it in with Garden Green and Old Olive, did the berries in Real Red, sponged it with Crumb Cake ink and fussy cut it out. I added two dimesionals to the back and attached one to the front panel and one to the inside card to hold the second panel. This was after a questions from a live viewer who asked if the ned would hold up after mailing. I mailed one of the cards out today, and I will let you know how it holds up without these added “stoppers”.
I also forgot to mention and I don’t know how I forgot, because I add Wink of Stella to EVERYTHING, that I added Wink to Santa, the tree and his bag. It makes it so much more magical of a card.

Again, you can add a regular A4 card panel and attach the car to that, but this card stands perfectly well without it, and that way you can make more cards with less sheets of card stock…..WIN WIN!!!!
Cherry Cobbler version is smaller the the original version I made the first time, I cut it down a bit to show more of Santa when it is open
Cherry Cobbler panel : 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″, score at 1/2″ on 5 1/2″ side
Very Vanilla layers: 4″ by 5 1/4″, you will need two
Cherry Cobbler panels: 5 1/4″ by 2 1/4″ and 5 1/4″ by 1 1/2″, score at 1/2″ on 5 1/2″ side
Very Vanilla layers: 4 5/8″ by 2 1/8″ and 4 5/8″ by  1 3/8″
Scraps of Very Vanilla if you want to add Holly Sprig “stoppers”

Until next time,
