A Moana & Pua beachy card, Stampin' Up!

Rachael · February 21, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Hi Stampers,
This was a really fun card to recreate! The Moana card was originally created by Michelle Carter and I loved it so very much I had to make one myself!
I also did another version with the”Ocean” who really was it’s own character in the film as well. I made the Ocean a larger than life wave by adding some White Gel pen and White Craft ink from a blender pen.
This card looks complicated but was jut a bit of patience in figuring where you want to put Moana and the boat or Pua the pig and where to orient the Ocean as well. I used lots of ink pad colors, but you could also get a similar effect by stampin off and stamping with full ink if you do not have all of these colors.
The video gives full details on how to create the further out island and also a way to skip the extra palm fronds on the bottom right of the card if you want to keep the boat in the first Moana card.
This is also a card that is quite addictive to create, even switching out the Moana to have just a beach scene and you could also simply add the boat as a great idea for a Retirement card as well!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this as much as I did making it 🙂
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
XO Rach
