A Beautiful Peacock quick and easy, Stampin' Up!

Rachael · January 9, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Hi Stampers!
If you’ve noticed I’ve been a bit slow posting, you are correct. I am really in a creative funk after Christmas, I am not sure why. I blogged a TON of Christmas ideas, and I felt like it went fairly slowly. I miss Christmas! So, I am trying to get a reboot which I began late last night using this super Fun and FREE to earn Sale A Bration Beautiful Peacock stamp set. I made a few different versions of this card but kid of stayed with the same colors. This set is super fun to use, and will be a breeze to do multi step stamping with once my Stamparatus arrives!
Also, something new I learned the other day! Did you know , if you want to embossing something in a specific ink color, you can?
It is even easier than the first way I suggested, which is really inking up your ink pad color of choice , stamping the image and then adding Clear Embossing Powder, Heat and Set.
What you do, is get out your Versamark and the ink pad you want. You will want to have run your embossing buddy on your paper (especially with this dry Winter weather) , then stamp your image in Versamark, then directly into the ink pad color you want, stamp add Clear Embossing Powder and Heat set.
That is how I did the inside of the second card with the “Beautiful Friend” sentiment! It was a quick and easy way, plus you dont need to worry as much about your ink drying before you can heat set it. You may have known this already, but I didn’t , so I had to share 🙂
Don’t forget I will be LIVE again tomorrow at 930am EST on the Facebook page with a card you are not going to want to miss! We will be using old photographs, I know you still have a box of them somewhere, and even better if they’re Black & White!
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
XO Rach
