Have DSP, NEED to use it up? Trusty Tools Multi layer DSP card

Sometimes you just need to send a cute card to someone telling them how much you miss them!

That’s what’s great about crafting.

You can add your twist to any card layout by just switching up the cardstock, colors, and stamp set!

For this card, I used the Trusty Tools Bundle which is going to be in the upcoming 2024 January-April Mini Catalog.

 

 

For the base, I used Pecan Pie Cardstock.

Then layered the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper (only available during January’s and February’s Sale-a-Bration)onto a Thick White Cardstock layer. Using the Stylish Shapes dies for the Pecan Pie square ( I used both stitched layers) and the Pennant die for the sentiment stamped in Real Red ink. I cut the Hammer from Crushed Curry and Silver Foil for the top, with some screws and nuts backed with adhesive sheet to make it simple to attach. I used my Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker to add depth with shading for the Hammer handle.

CARD RECIPE

• Pecan Pie Card Base–4 1/4″ x 11”, score and fold at 5 1/2″
• Thick White layer –  4″ x 5 1/4″
• DSP layer –  3 3/4″ x 5″
• Basic White layer–4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside, scraps for sentiment
