Have you every wished you had a certain color embossing powder, but didn’t or we maybe do not carry it?
Well I have the solution for you! Make your own!
I used versamark with Soft Suede ink and Clear Embossing powder and made the one I wanted.
This card is super easy and a paper saver too! I cut the small magnolia flower from the under layer of Very Vanilla card stock. Then once you cover it, you don’t even notice!
I used a Blender Pen to take some color from the Terracotta Tile and Mint Macaron markers to fill in the flower.
I made the center darker and faded out to the edges.
The Wood Grain patterned paper is from the Come to Gather DSP pack! Great for using after fall, Thanksgiving or Halloween!
CARD RECIPE
Base Card: Terracotta Tile 4 1/4″ by 11″, score at 5 1/2″
DSP layer: 4″ by 5 1/4″
Very Vanilla layer:2 1/4″ by 3 1/4″
DSP layer 2″ by 3″
Until next time,
Stay Crafty!

Love the colours you used Rachael.
Such a lovely card combining both of those gorgeous DSPs with the magnolia! Using any of our color inks with the clear emboss powder definitely opens up our creativity, doesn’t it?!? 🙂
Beautiful! I love everything about this! Such pretty colours! Great design! Love it!
This is a fabulous use of designer series paper! I love it and will be “casing” it. Thank you for the inspiration!
Lovely card for today Rach! And great to hop with you 🙂
Lovely card Rach.
Beautiful card Rachael, you gave me a great idea for some pieces of cardstock that wasn’t exactly my favorite.
That is my same sentiment, I didn’t love it but this design has made it much better for me too!
A beautiful card, Thanks for the inspiration
