Hi stampers! Welcome to our Stamp It demonstrators group Mother’s Day blog hop!
I would love to say I was prepared, but this is another project, strike that TWO projects I created for this blog hop…….AT THE LAST MINUTE. Insert sad face here đ it seems I cannot get my behind in gear these last few weeks, however this is a testament that you can create absolutely anything , and a quite beautiful anything with minimal effort. That is what is so wonderful about all of the Stampin’ Up! products: they coordinate and compliment effortlessly, blend with each other beautifully, and keep your stress levels to a minimum :-D.
I did find the gift bag idea in the 2016-17 Annual catalog and  came up with the card inspiration from Pinterest. BUT the color combo was all on my own. It is such a pretty combo and even though we have the retirement list that came out, and the 2015-17 In Colors that are retiring, at least we still have POOL PARTY right!?!?!? If we could bring back Coastal Cabana, I may never leave my stamp room.
I did videos below for both projects, but I will still give out a quick instruction for each, and as always the measurements for the card!
Just a few notes, the 2016-17 Annual catalog retirement list is going and fast….so make sure you get what you want before the price goes up……..on eBay that is:/
The NEW 2017-18 Annual catalog will be coming to a mailbox near you very soon, and if you don’t have a demonstrator, feel free to drop me an email with your full name, and mailing address and I will send you one free of charge.

Card Base: 4 1/4″ by 12″ card stock base ( I used Kraft card stock)
Layers: Whisper White
Butterfly: Pool Party
On the 12″ side, score at 2, 4 ,8 & 10″, then turn and line up the 4 1/4″ side edge  at the 1″ mark, and score from 2″ to 10″ ( in-between the score lines), flip and repeat on the other side.
You will then do a mountain/valley fold  for an”M” shape to the card when it stands up.
You will need five pieces to layer and I did them in  Whisper White
Two measuring  7/8″ by 3 7/8″
One measuring 1 7/8″ by 3 7/8″
Two measuring 1 7/8″ by 3 3/4″
Gift Bag: Glassine gift bag
Layer: Whisper White
Butterfly: Pool Party
