Hi Stampers!
Thanks for helping me pass some time on a rainy Sunday. Sometimes its hard to stamp alone, as you have no one to bounce ideas off of, but with you all, I am blessed to have people who give me ideas and interaction.
I am truly grateful to have your support, you have no idea what it means to me!
I did this card a few different ways and each one has it’s own variants and they all looked pretty cool, especially when they dried.
In the end our card we finished today, was stamped ink pad to stamp with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede onto Strathmore watercolor paper. I waited for it to dry and then spread around the color with Blender Pens and an Aqua Painter.
I then ripped away the paper for a rough/vintage look and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink on a Stampin’ Sponge.
I embossed a piece of Nature’s Poem DSP with the Dynamic Wood Plank embossing folder. I did lightly sprit the paper with water first.
I also embossed a piece of Tranquil Texture DSP with the Layered Leaves dynamic embossing folder.
I added a piece of Burlap tTrim to the bottom of the Oak layer and then added the rest with some really strong adhesive like Fast Fuse or Tombow Liquid glue.
I finished the inside by stamping the single leaves with Crumb Cake and Tranquil Tide inks. Finally I added the sentiment with a mix of Silver and Gold embossing powder which creates a Champagne colored embossing powder using Versamark ink.
Who would you send this amazing card to?
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
XO Rach
