Welcome to Stamp It Group Easter Theme Blog Hop. We are all using current Stampin’ Up! Products. I’m Rachael Rife from Maryland, USA and you are visiting my blog Rachthestamper. At the bottom of my post, you will find a list of all the participating blog hoppers so you can move along from blog to blog and see all the fantastic projects.
Make sure to leave a comment on each blog with the hashtag #stampitcontest to be entered to win the Notes of Kindness Card Kit!
To create the card above, I added in different colors with sponges and glycerine. What I did was start with Flirty Flamingo ink that I dipped a clear block in and added some glycerine drops to. I then picked it up with the sponge and spread it over the Whisper White card stock about 3/4 of the way down. I repeated this at the bottom with Highland Heather and then again with Gorgeous Grape because it was not dark enough for me. I then went back and added some Crushed Curry to the top and finally added a bit of Melon Mambo where the sun would rise.
I stamped the flowers and grass at the bottom with Memento ink.I finished by spritzing the whole card with Frost White shimmer paint in a Stampin’ Spritzer that was mixed with rubbing alcohol.
I am totally obsessed with the shimmer paint if you have not noticed….I CANNOT stop using it!
I finished by stamping Easter Blessings on a scrap of Whisper White and flagged the ends with my paper snips.
This card reminds me of the sunrise this morning and how everything begins anew on Easter morning.
