To create the card above, I added in different colors with sponges and glycerine. What I did was start with Flirty Flamingo ink that I dipped a clear block in and added some glycerine drops to. I then picked it up with the sponge and spread it over the Whisper White card stock about 3/4 of the way down. I repeated this at the bottom with Highland Heather and then again with Gorgeous Grape because it was not dark enough for me. I then went back and added some Crushed Curry to the top and finally added a bit of Melon Mambo where the sun would rise.
I stamped the flowers and grass at the bottom with Memento ink.I finished by spritzing the whole card with Frost White shimmer paint in a Stampin’ Spritzer that was mixed with rubbing alcohol.
I am totally obsessed with the shimmer paint if you have not noticed….I CANNOT stop using it!
I finished by stamping Easter Blessings on a scrap of Whisper White and flagged the ends with my paper snips.
This card reminds me of the sunrise this morning and how everything begins anew on Easter morning.
