Backgrounds made fun with Mats, Sponges and more!

Rachael · March 27, 2019 · Leave a Comment

Decorative Mask inked with Versamark pad, then added Blueberry Bushel powder: heated and inked with Balmy blue

Added Gray Granite ink with Sponge, then added Smokey Slate ink with Sponge Dauber to darken

Mixed Blueberry Bushel reindeer with Shimmery Embossing Paste, added over Decorative mask

Used Versamark to ink over Decorative mask and added Clear Emboss powder and heat set

Used Decorative mask with Granny Apple Green, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce to add a ombre effect. I love the background but not how I finished the card.

Hi Stampers!

Today we played with A LOT of cool stuff to make our backgrounds more fun…..even though I didn’t love the cards I made from them:)

You can make a bunch and save some for fresh ideas or something extra to bump up a boring card!

  1. We used the Decorative Masks with ink and sponges/daubers
  2. We used the Decorative Masks with Versamark and then added powder and embossed
  3. We used the Decorative Masks with Embossing Paste with ink refill as well
  4. We sponged over the embossed powder with ink to fill in the space

What will you try that you’ve never done before? Which products are you excited to pull out that you bought and didn’t use yet?

Until next time,

Stay Crafty!

XO Rach
