Here are the scoring measurements for that cute little treat bag! Best part is you can get two bags out of one 12 X 12 sheet of card stock or DSP. It was super simple, and again credit where it is due to Elaine from Papercraft Button over in the UK for her great treat bag idea!
You will need a sheet of 12 X 12, and you will cut it in half so it measures 6″ by 12″.
On the 12″ or landscape side you will score it all the way across at 5/8″ turn the paper 90′ and now all the scores are on the portrait or 6″ side, you will score at :
2″, 2 6/8″, 3 1/2″, 7 6/8″, 8 1/2″ and 9 2/8″.
Fold along the score line on the bottom, and score like a mountain and valley fold on both sides where there are three score lines. This will make much more sense if you watch or have seen the video, which is below.
This treat bag is so fun for any holiday or Occasion!
Only a few short days until the 2016 Holiday catalog goes live, I can’t wait to see what you’re going to get 🙂
Hi stampers! This quick and simple card is a cinch to bang out a bunch of. If you’re in need of pretty but easy invites, thank you’s or any other batch of cards you may want to create. You can easily switch out the colors and give it a totally different feel too!
Also trying a different doilie like a gold or silver one would work just as well!
Hey stampers! This is a really fun card to make, and since I made it backwards the first time, I redid another version to make it easier. I cannot be the only person who does things backwards from time to time 🙂 This is why it’s sometimes good to make mistakes, mostly if you learn from them!
I did use a retired stamp set for this card, just to show how many different stamp set you can make into spinner/slider cards.
Also I think the Timeless Textures stamp set really filled in great as tire tracks.
Full card measurements and details are listed below, and you can get a better idea of how to make it in the video.
Until next time, Stay Crafty!!
Card base is 4 1/4″ by 11″ you will score it at 5 6/8″ , then turn your card stock and score again at 5 6/8″. Basic Black piece will be cut at 4″ by 5 6/8″ to layer on the inside.
Inside layer of Whisper White will measure 4″ by 5 1/4″
Hi stampers!! This was a SUPER FUN card to create!!! I have seen a few ideas of cactus made from the leftover grass/leaf pieces from the April Paper Pumpkin scraps. But it seems there were a large amount of people( myself included) that never even made the wreath, so I though this would be a great card to make you use or use up your leftover pieces. It’s a very fun card, and even if you don’t have the April Paper Pumpkin, or leftovers to use,a really fun card on it’s own! I hope if you do not already have this super fun Fiesta Birthday bundle, it will quickly make your MUST HAVE list!! It is my real favorite, even more than Seaside Shore( and you know how I love that set!). Plus if you get the stamps and the framelits as a bundle, you’ll save 10%. A N D, right now if you spend $50 USD, you will get a $5 coupon code to use in August towards a super cute new bundle. It will only be available for a limited time.
So until next time…..Stay Crafty!
Card measurements are:
Base 4 1/4″ by 11″, score at 5 1/2″, then a DSP layer of 4″ by 5 1/4″. I also used a Whisper White panel inside at 4″ by 5 1/4″, with two thins strips of DSP to add a punch to the inside.
Scraps of leaves from the April Paper Pumpkin
# 142268 Birthday Fiesta bundle stamps and die cuts ( SAVE 10%)
Hey there stamping and crafting friends! Hope you are all well and enjoying this beautiful summer:)
This is such a fun card to create, and also leaves lots of room for changes to different DSP, card stock and ink colors, and most importantly stamp sets. You could make this into so many different variations, for so many occasions. You will just need to have a full sheet of card stock to start, and it’s a cinch from there. The video as always has some tips , and funnies, so be sure to watch it as well
Until next time…..Stay Crafty!!
Base: you’ll need a full sheet of 8 1/2″ by 11″, you will want to cut it down the long side at 4 1/4″, but keep it 11″ long, you will want to score it a 5 1/2″, and 2 3/4″. Then from the remaining card stock base color cut either a 1″or 1 1/4″ piece, still 11″ long. Again you will score it at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″. You will need Whisper White to stamp your images on to, and the measurements are kind of up to you. You can either trim them down by a quarter inch, or an eight which gives a tighter border.
Quarter inch measurements: 2 pieces at 4″ by 2 1/2″, 1 piece 4″ by 5 1/4″, 2 pieces ( also depending on the side of your trim piece) 1″ by 2 1/2″, 1 piece 1″ by 5 1/4″.
Hi stampers! So as promised , here are the measurements and score directions for this super fun, and really quite easy card!
As you can see, I changed it around a little once I finished the Periscope. I wasn’t entirely happy with the rose on the side, but I didn’t want you all to have to suffer watching me get out the cutter and die cuts. So I hope you like what I did to switch it up. I simply restamped the greeting onto a scrap piece of Whisper White, trimmed it to size, and used the Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends, then popped it up on dimensionals. I cut a few flowers and leaves out using the Botanical Builder framelits, then added them with either Mini Glue Dots, or Dimensionals. I also took the white stamped layer from the front and moved it to the inside. I really loved the stamped leaves on the Pool Party piece, and it just covered it up too much. I added in a few flowers and a leaf on the little side piece as well, and you could also add an additional Whisper White piece inside, if you want more room to hand write a note.
All together, I must say I REALLY LOVE THIS COLOR COMBO! Honestly, sometimes choosing your colors as you go really does the trick! They all go so well together, and it feels like a super summery card!!
So ,you will need 12 x 12 card stock to make the base, but otherwise, this card can be all your own. With switching out the DSP or using sold card stock, even adding in more layers of sold and pattern for extra dimension and fun 🙂
Until next time, Stay Crafty!!
Card base of Calypso Coral DSP Stack at 4 1/4″ by 12″.
You can either score all along , or score then turn and repeat.
Score at 1 5/8″, 3 1/4″, 8 3/4″, 10 3/8″.
Score at 3 1/4″ on each side, then at 1 5/8″ on each side.
The inside Whisper White piece is 4″ by 5 1/4″
Front Pool Party piece is 4″ by 5 1/4″
Side pieces are in Calypso Coral at 1 1/2″ by 4″, and then a Whisper White layer of 1 2/8″ by 3 7/8″
Hey stampers!! Hope you are enjoying this 4th of JULY! We are certainly having some unusual weather here in the Mid Atlantic…..it is so much cooler than usual. I am really hoping the weather holds out and we can see a parade or two, but mostly the fireworks!!
This is such a really fun set to work with, and this cool technique kind of pits a spotlight on the very unique images, don’t you think?
I used layers of the Festive Birthday DSP, and the Fiesta Time Framelits with the Birthday Fiesta stamp set to make this version. However, you could swap this for SO MANY OCCASIONS!!
It was fun to play around and see what ideas popped into my head, I hope you will try it too 🙂
