Simple Halloween and Christmas cards with Fun Flair

Hi Stampers!

This simple technique will get you a ton of cards in no time.

By using pieces of Designer Series Paper you make the card just how you want and then add bits of Foil Paper, Glimmer Paper and sparkle to bump them up a notch.

You can do any theme and as much or as little as you’d like!

I came across this by accident while changing a Silver Leaf from the Leaves Trinkets to Copper. I ran out of copper leaves, so I decided to heat emboss one with Copper Heat Emboss Powder, and as I did, some of the heated powder dripped off. I had a wow moment and thought that it would be a neat way to add some fun to a card or project!

I can’t say I am the first to do this, but it sure is pretty and once again, I learned something from a goof up!

CARD RECIPE

Base: 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″

DSP layer: 4″ by 5 1/4″
