Hi Stampers!
I hope you enjoyed this mistake turned technique we shared today!
I shared lots of tips and tricks, so it is worth going back and watching the video if you missed it.
I came across this by accident while changing a Silver Leaf from the Leaves Trinkets to Copper. I ran out of copper leaves, so I decided to heat emboss one with Copper Heat Emboss Powder, and as I did, some of the heated powder dripped off. I had a wow moment and thought that it would be a neat way to add some fun to a card or project!
I can’t say I am the first to do this, but it sure is pretty and once again, I learned something from a goof up!
CARD RECIPE
Crumb Cake base: 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
Soft Suede layer: 4″ by 5 1/4″
Magnolia DSP layer: 3 3/4″ by 5″
I used a smaller Whisper White piece for the sentiment, but you could also do a think strip of WW as well and layer over the Mossy Meadow strip.
Until next time,
Stay Crafty!
XO Rach
