Liquid Masking on Watercolor Paper: Dry vs. Wet

Hi Stampers!

This is the finished product for the cards we stamped and set aside with Strathmore Watercolor Paper.

I did one as a “dry” color and the other as a “wet” color. They both give different effects and you can do both at any time.

I would recommend getting a “Hard Board” if you do not own one, as you can do lots of movement of your color & water.

It also keeps your project very flat if you tape it to it prior to starting.

If you watch the video, it go very in depth with details and I gave a few examples of how to do it.

When applying Liquid Masking agent, you need to be sure to use an older and not your favorite paint brush, have dish soap and the something to clean up with too.

You will want to protect your work surface.
