Hi Stampers! Hope you were able to tune in to see this fun card we created today! If not it is here on the blog and on replay on Facebook and YouTube.
We used watercolor paper and Salt to create a resist background with some Memento and Basic Gray ink pads, reinkers and Aquapainters. We also added in some of the silicone beads you get in your shoes, purses and such.
I ended up trimming the card down to 3 1/2″ by 4″ and I backed it with some 4″ by 5 1/4″ Toil & Trouble DSP in the purple stripes.
I added the Witch, Cat and broom from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set and the Toil & Trouble DSP
I cut a few spiderwebs out of Black card stock and added them with the Fine Tip glue pen, but with more time, I would use the Tombow multipurpose adhesive instead.
The witch on the broom totally reminded me of Samantha from Be*Witched….anyone else love that show?
I stamped the moon in Crushed Curry, the fog/mist in Smoky Slate which I stamped off once and the sentiment in Memento ink.
I did all of this on my Tonic Easy Clean mat, which I will link to here, and you can order Kosher Salt here as well. (The previous two links are affiliate links, so if you click and purchase these, I get a small amount from the sale. I do own and recommend these products and would NOT place a link for something I do not believe in and own.)
What will you create for Halloween treats?
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
