Happy Stampin’ Up! New Year & World Card Making Day!

Happy new year stampers!! Well Stampin’ Up! new year anyway🤗🎉🎈

Here are a few cute little treats I wanted to share with you for World Card Making day on October 1st 2016.

I did a little treat holder, a card, and gave a few ideas for the really cool take out boxes which are on the CLEARANCE RACK!!!!! They are so cheap you just need to get some, also they can hold a TON of goodies! Great if you need a quick simple treat box.

The little treat holder measures 3″ by 31/2″ and is about 1 1/4″ deep.

To make it you will need a piece of DSP measuring 4 1/2″ by 9 1/2″.

On the long side you will score it at 3″, 4 1/2″, 7 1/2″, 9″ and 9 1/2″. the turn and score at 3 1/2″. I showed in the video what to trim and you simply fold on the score lines, add some adhesive to the 1 /2″ strip and adhesive to the bottom and seal it up 🙂

Easy peasy…..

Until next time….Stay Crafty!!

A Boo-tiful Halloween Mix, Stampin’ Up!

Hi stampers, crafters and creative friends! I thought I would share a few of the Halloweem card ideas I have come up with lately. A lot of these items contain really cool things from the clearance rack. They just added in a TON of new items, and they are while supplies last. But I also have a mix of things from the 2016 Holiday catalog, and the annual catalog.

I hope you find a little inspiration, and if you have any questions, or want any tips or advice, I hope you will not hesitate to contact me. You can leave me a comment here on my blog, or send me an email.

I am also on most other social media platforms, and would be glad to see and hear from you on any of those as well!

Until next time…..Stay Crafty!!

One Sheet Wonder leftover card, Stampin’ Up!

Hi stampers and crafters! This is the video for the leftover pieces that I made into cards, from those sweet little Halloween Treat holders! You can make quite a few, then you will have cards and little treat holders, and you can even swap out the designs on the DSP, and all of your little ghosts and goblins will have different ones 🙂

The card bases are standard size of 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″, and the DSP  can measure either 4 1/4″ by 3″ or  4″ by  3″ (whichever you have left from your other project)

Hope you enjoyed this fun addition to the One Sheet Wonder!

Until next time……Stay Crafty!!

Pizza Style Treat Box, Stampin’ Up!

Hi stamping friends! Hope you are starting to accept the end of Summer and back to school; beginning to embrace that fact that Autumn, and soon after Halloween will be on their way. Its revving up to be the busy and fun time of year, and I always need a little head start on my Holiday crafting or card making. I came up with this brilliant idea for a mini Pizza Style box, to fill with treats and gifts. You could sub in Cash, Gift cards or various other great little gifts. I am sure you could even get an iPod, iTouch or iPhone into the larger box if you are a VERY generous gifter. Also if so, I would be so glad to be on your gifting list 🙂

Outside Front

Inside with 8 chocolates
Or inside with 3 Fun Size M&M’s

I made two different size boxes, quite by accident too! I started out making the smaller box, and when I filmed the video, I happily ended up with a slightly larger size! Serendipitous if I may say so, also one of the cutest movies if you need a suggestion.

I used DSP to brighten up both of these boxes. I think DSP on it’s own would just not be sturdy enough, but you can add some in to spice it up a bit.

This box requires some scoring and trimming, but honestly once you make one, you will find they are extremely simple to duplicate.

You will need a sheet of 8 1/2″ by 12″ paper to make the large box.

On the 12″ side you will score at 3/4″, 5″, 5 3/4″, 10 1/8″, 11″, 11 1/8″.

On the 8 1/2″ side you will score at  1″, 1 1/8″, 1 7/8″, 2″, then turn the card completely around, and repeat the scoring at 1″, 1 1/8″, 1 7/8″, 2″.

If you follow along in the video you will see how to burnish your fold marks , and which little bits to trim off.  It is much simpler to follow along with the video if you have the measurements on hand!

As always if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask 🙂

Until next time…..Stay Crafty!!

Thoughtful Bundle Halloween treat bag, Stampin’ Up!

Hey stampers!
Here are the scoring measurements for that cute little treat bag! Best part is you can get two bags out of one 12 X 12 sheet of card stock or DSP. It was super simple, and again credit where it is due to Elaine from Papercraft Button over in the UK for her great treat bag idea!

You will need a sheet of 12 X 12, and you will cut it in half so it measures 6″ by 12″.

On the 12″ or  landscape side you will score it all the way across at 5/8″ turn the paper 90′ and now all the scores are on the portrait or 6″ side, you will score at :

2″, 2 6/8″, 3 1/2″, 7 6/8″, 8 1/2″ and 9 2/8″.

Fold along the score line on the bottom, and score like a mountain and valley fold on both sides where there are three score lines. This will make much more sense if you watch or have seen the video, which is below.

This treat bag is so fun for any holiday or Occasion!

Only a few short days until the 2016 Holiday catalog goes live, I can’t wait to see what you’re going to get 🙂

Until next time….. Stay Crafty!!

OSW: Quick and Cute DSP Halloween treat holder, Stampin’ Up!

Hi stampers! This is such a fun little treat box, you will surely want to try. You can use a 9 x 9 piece if you want to get some cards out of the DSP sheet as well, making it a One Sheet Wonder. Or you could a full 12 x 12 sheet of DSP and make a bigger treat holder. This is also very easily switched to any holiday by changing out the DSP, or making your own to suit what you need. I put fill instructions below on a sheet of paper. I marked the score lines in ink so it would be easier to see, they only indicate the scoring spots and do not need to be done in ink. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me 🙂

Until next time, Stay Crafty!!

Full 9×9 sheet, or you can use 12×12

3″ and 6″ score lines
Turn 90′
Score again at 3″ and 6″
All score lines shown
Score each corner from tip to inside of square corner
