Watercolor Melon Fun Fold card

This sweet card is sure to put a smile on any face!

Sending a smile to cheer someone from afar is always a great idea.

For this card, I used the Watercolor Melon stamp set which is going to be in the upcoming 2024 Sale A Bration Catalog.

 

For the base, I used Parakeet Party Cardstock.

Then layered the Sweet Sorbet tinted Les Shoppes DSP onto the front flap with a thin piece of Shaded Spruce Textured Shimmer paper. I created two layers of my own DSP with the leaf and various melon images in a Tone on Tone style. Several of the sentiment stamp sets (only available during January’s and February’s Sale-a-Bration) will really make this card unique with so many ways to change it! Using the Stylish Shapes dies for the small stitched circle or pennant front sentiments make this card fun and playful. I also think the Glossy Accents (which I linked below) make the card way more realistic.

• Parakeet Party Card Base–5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ , 1 1/4″
• Les Shoppes layer –  1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
• Textured Shimmer strip layer –  1/2″ x 5 1/2″
• DIY DSP layer – 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, 1″ x 5 1/2″
• Basic White layer–2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside, scraps for sentiments, melons
