Watercoloring with Emboss Resist

Rachael · January 2, 2019 · 1 Comment

Hi Stampers and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Today we created this fun emboss resist card with watercoloring. My one piece of advice is use WATERCOLOR PAPER, not much else holds up to being wet two times. We tried a version with Thick Whisper White and it did not do well.

I did save the piece, so when it is fully dry I will photograph it and make a card with it. I will post the finished version of that too.

I still want to give it a try with Glossy paper, and I will keep you posted on how it goes.

So Saffron
Mint Macaron
Lovely Lipstick

Today is the LAST day for the 2018 Winter/Holiday Catalog, so make sure you order before it’s too late!

CARD RECIPE

Base card: Night of Navy 4 1/4″ by 11″, score at 5 1/2″

Layer: Watercolor paper 4″ by 5 1/4″

Vellum is 5 1/4″ by 1″

Tomorrow 1/3/19 starts the 2019 Occasions and Sale a Bration catalog where with every $50 purchase you earn something FREE!

Until next time,

Stay Crafty!

XO Rach

Yep, This card with Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron, and So Saffron turned out nice after the 2nd wash! LOL 🙂 Altho I liked the Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Coastal Cabana colors; it didnt hold up well thru two washings… 🙁
