Hi Stampers and crafters!
Welcome to our Team Stamp It Christmas in July blog hop! Thank you for joining us again this month as we cool off and prepare for a Winter Weather advisory….well, even if only in our minds for a mini break 🙂
 
I was able to preorder the really cool Blended Seasons bundle and the all new Watercolor Pencil collection and I thought I would focus on those for the hop! These will be available for customers to order August 1-30th, but if you sign up as a demo, you can order them with your starter kit:)

The cool part about this bundle is you can use it for most any season, and the layering dies are stitched, with a double stitch and it really adds to the card design.
I did this as a sort of diorama card but with layers instead of making an actual box diorama.
It reminded me of an Old Fashioned Christmas card.
I just got the stamps and dies late Thursday evening, so I cannot wait to use them more, especially the Autumn pieces.
This card is quite simple as it really only has two layers:
Base card is Mossy Meadow 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4′
Layer of Under the Mistletoe DSP 5 1/4″ by 4″
Whisper White layer on the inside is 4″ by 5 1/4″ and then some scraps for the bells and sentiment.
I used a combination of older and brand new Stampin Blends to color in the holly and bells, and I must say they really brought them to life!
