Thanks for stopping by again this week! Today we created a fun fold card with partial die cutting. It was not exactly how I wanted it to be but it turned out really pretty. I was going for an inlay look as I saw on a card made with a die specifically for this type of card. I do not own that die and we do not have one like it, so I made an improvised version on my own!
I think the colors are just gorgeous and I love the new Garden Lane suite which is was I created this from. I fully intended on using a retiring stamp set or paper but I guess my mind chose otherwise 😉
Also I want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all First Responders and especially Law Enforcement Officers this week! You are bravely running towards danger, uncertainty and human emotion on a daily basis and I am forever grateful for all of you!
Base Card: Mossy Meadow 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ for center, then you will make a light pencil line at 2 1/8″ to be able to line up your layering circles to do partial die cuts
Inside Layer: Whisper White 4″ by 5 1/4″
DSP Layers: 1/2″ by 4″ for bottom of inside panel, 3 /4″ by 5 1/4″ for inside fold layer, 1 6/8″ by 5 1/4″ for from panel layer
Until next time,
