Hi Stampers! We created a fun Mirror Technique card today that I learned from Shannon Kissane, the Crafting Engineer. I changed up a few of the colors and elements, but she had a wonderful card I had to recreate!
I did a lot of sponging but you could also add some Glycerine to the ink to make them blend a bit smoother if you’d like. I used Pool Party as my main ink color and added some Blueberry Bushel to the top to add more of a night feel. I also added Mango Melody to the bottom for the sunset part.
I added Stars with the White Gel Pen from Singo, and also used it to add “water marks” horizontally. You could add a bit of Wink of Stella to give some shimmer to your water.
I used a “Background Stamp” made by Neat & Tangled, but you can use the back of the “House” stamp from the Pop On By stamp set or any other large photopolymer stamp
The links below are affiliate links, what that means is I make a small commission off of sales at NO extra cost to you! I only use and link products I believe in and am not given these products to use, I purchase them with my own money of my own choice.
Base Layer: Blueberry Bushel 4 1/4″ by 11″, score at 5 1/2″
Layer: 4 1/4″ by 2 1/4″ Wood Textures DSP
Layer: Whisper White 5 1/4″ by 3 1/4″
Layer to stamp on: Whisper White 5″ by 3″
Inside Panel” 4″ by 5 1/4″
You will also need a piece of Window Sheet to hook your stamp onto that will stamp onto your clear photopolymer stamp with( this will make your mirror image)
