Hi Stampers! This is a new to me technique, and I am calling git Spotlight Stamping with or without Partial Diecutting, which means you cut about half of the image and leave the rest connected. It will give you a whole new way to use your thinlits, framelits and even edgelits!
I saw this technique on a video by a woman I truly admire for her extremely creative abilities, her name is Jennifer McGuire. She does absolutely incredible creations.
The idea with this technique, is that you can achieve it with just stamps or add dies to cut out part of your image and then it will give your card a fun feel because of the unique angles your card stock is cut to, PLUS you can virtually guarantee each card will be unique depending on where you cut .
I hope you’ll give this a try and let me know what creations you come up with as well!
I used the Night in Bethlehem bundle and the Eastern Palace bundle for these two beauties, what will you create today?
Until next time,
Stay Crafty
