Stampin Friends Fall Blog Hop

So let’s jump right in.

Project RECIPE

I used the all new Mini Curvy Keepsakes box, which is great because you only have to cut it one time! I was actually able to get both my card and mini box from ONE 8 1/2″ by 11″ sheet of Mango Melody!

We have so many great Halloween and Fall sets in the new Holiday catalog it makes my heart smile. I just LOVE Halloween!!

I know this is a Fall themed hop but Fall = HALLOWEEN to me 🙂

With Memento ink, I added the Jack O’ Lantern face to the Mango Melody curvy box. Along with some new Green and White Double Stitched Ribbon to make it look like a stem, I finished it with some thankfully still around Black Glittered Organdy ribbon!

CARD RECIPE

I created the card as a fun fold with the remainder of the Mango Melody card stock by scoring at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ on the 8 1/2″ side.

I added a few strips of all new Monster Bash DSP to make it fun. I have two pieces of different patterns which I think go well together. One 4 1/4″ by 2″ and one 4 1/4″ by 1/2″.

I layered the 1/2″ strip onto a 4″ by 5 1/4″ Whisper White panel for the inside of the card. I stamped my sentiment, webs, bats etc in a mix of Black and Mango Melody.

I also added a fun element to the front with the really fun Ornate Frames dies that coordinate with the suite. I inked the sentiment leaving off the “frame” and added it to give some extra punch!

There are also some really cool Enamel Shapes like: Ravens, Tombstones and Skulls that would make it creepy cool as well!
