Hi Stampers! I made this really pretty card as a CASE from the 2019 Occasions Catalog where they used it to decorate one of the cookie/pizza boxes.
I thought it would make a really lovely card and I think I was correct! I did the original version with just Watercolor Pencils, so on the version I did a video for, I added in the Stampin’ Blends as well, but I still like the first version the best. I used Bermuda Bay and Old Olive which make a great combo, but you could also do it with Coastal Cabana and Pear Pizzazz as well. I stamped them in their respective inks and filled them in, then smoothed over the lines with a Blender Pen.
I added the Whisper White Flax ribbon, some Sparkle Glimmer paper punched with the Starburst punch and finally the totally under-used ( in my craft room anyway) Tropical Elements.
CARD RECIPE
Base Layer: Bermuda Bay 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, score at. 4 1/4″
Layer: Bermuda Bay 4″ by 5 1/4″
Layer: Whisper White 3 3/4″ by 5″
I also added a scrap of Sizzix Adhesive sheet to the scrap of Bermuda Bay to make it easier to adhere the die cut portion that the sentiment is on.
Which card is your favorite: Watercolor alone or Watercolor with Blends?
Until next time,
Stay Crafty!
XO Rach
